PresGen is intended to help spread information on Preserved Diesel locomotive workings primarily on Preserved Railways but also any workings of Preserved Diesel locomotives on the mainline. Members are encouraged to post any gen that may help others intending to visit a particular location or event. Please take the time to read the FAQ and the files section on the homepage will also contain any published gala timetables and/or loco diagrams. General guidelines for the use of PresGen PresGen SHOULD be used for: 1) Sending gen on preserved diesel workings on preserved railways, critically short notice changes that preserved railways are unlikely to advertise due to the time scales involved. 2) Sending gen about preserved diesel workings on the mainline. 3) Sending gen about mainline diesels working passenger trains on preserved railways.
PresGen SHOULD NOT be used for: 1) Questions. 2) Discussions. 3) Promoting links to photo websites.. 4) Past gen - The gen should be present or future only. 5) Anything to do with kettles. 6) Spotting reports, speculation etc. 7) Foul language - children and ladies are also members of PresGen - Please be respectful. You WILL be reported. 8) Any rants or abuse of any kind will NOT be tolerated any you WILL be reported. The group will be heavily
moderated to keep it on topic.
There is a good reason for this as the groups purpose is very specific
TO DISSEMINATE PRESERVED DIESEL RUNNING INFORMATION.Users who repeatedly breach the posting guidelines will be individually moderated. Can we also ask you to please avoid adding comments to
